The first and greatest form of courage is the courage to take responsible for our own life. Like it or not, we alone are responsible for the person we are today, the state of our heart, and the shape of our life. We can point our finger ‘til the cows come home, but at the end of the day, the buck stops with us.

Margie Warrell

Being empowered is not about physical, brute strength. It is not about the number and height of our successes and accomplishments. It is not about fame, the house we live in, the car we drive, or the clothes we wear.

Being empowered is the strength, substance, and character of our inner being.

It is knowing that whatever life throws at us, we will prevail.

All of us will have events that will challenge our ability to survive, physically, mentally, and emotionally. The manner in which we handle, survive, and grow from these challenges reveals how comfortable we are with being empowered.
